Burns Water Gardens specializes in hardy aquatic plants which we grow outside, under the Canadian conditions they will encounter in the average Canadian garden pond. We grow a very wide range of hardy & tropical marginals and hardy waterlilies - our inventory list has over 200 marginals and more than 100 hardy waterlilies - many of which are available on our wholesale price list. All plants are tested over several years for hardiness and performance in our climate (Zone 5 - USDA Zone 4). At all times we have new plants on trial. Please order early for best selection.

Our top quality aquatic plants are established and well rooted in 4" or 6" pots ready for display and sale at your retail centre without further preparation by your staff. Your customers will find them of sufficient size to transplant into larger containers immediately for display in their garden ponds. Many tropicals are in attractive 6" terracotta colour containers that are 'pond ready' - transplanting will not usually be necessary. Specimen plants are available in many varieties - both hardy and tropical. Please ask for details.

Wholesale pricing is available to approved nurseries and garden centres who are purchasing and maintaining Burns Water Gardens plants for resale. We must have a completed provincial sales tax exemption certificate prior to the order completion, or sales tax will be charged. An approved credit application must be on file, or orders will be on a prepaid or cash basis. We accept Visa, Mastercard and debit cards. Cheques are only accepted from approved wholesale clients. Initial orders must total more than $500, based on wholesale prices. Orders less than this amount will receive a percentage off current retail pricing. Subsequent orders in the same year must total at least $100.

PICKUP: Orders must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance. There is a 15% restocking charge if plants are not picked up on the date specified. CREDIT TERMS: Net 30 days. 2% per month / 24% per year.

Hardy plants will be available early May, depending upon weather conditions. Tropical plants will not be available until June 1st, unless a heated greenhouse or secure frost protection is utilized.
